These Terms of Use (“Terms”) describe how you may use the BestWinter application and services. They are written to be understandable on a cold chairlift, not only at a desk.
1. Who you are contracting with
BestWinter is provided by Bradley Marc Copson, operating through Trendflux Ltd (“we”, “us”). By using the app, you agree to these Terms.
2. What BestWinter is (and is not)
BestWinter is:
- A conversational tool that uses AI to suggest winter trips and related ideas.
- An assistant that weighs snow, crowd and budget signals to inspire your own travel decisions.
BestWinter is not:
- A booking service or travel agent.
- A guarantee of snow conditions, prices, or availability on your actual travel dates.
- A place where users can communicate with or track one another.
3. AI‑generated content and OpenAI
BestWinter relies on the OpenAI API to generate responses. This means the app’s travel suggestions, descriptions and tips are machine‑generated based on your prompts and context.
Although we design the experience for clarity and usefulness, AI‑generated content may occasionally be incomplete, outdated or simply wrong. Mountains change, timetables change, and models can hallucinate.
You should always verify critical details — such as avalanche risks, opening dates, transport schedules, visas or insurance requirements — with official sources before committing to a trip.
4. Third‑party services (Singular and OneSignal)
To understand how people use the app and to send push notifications, we use:
- Singular for analytics and performance insights.
- OneSignal for delivering optional push notifications.
These services help us keep BestWinter sustainable, fix problems and inform you about relevant updates. Their role is described in more detail in our Privacy Notice.
5. Your responsibilities
By using BestWinter, you agree to:
- Use the app only for lawful purposes and personal travel planning.
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, misuse or overload the service.
- Treat the AI’s suggestions as guidance to review, not instructions to follow blindly.
6. No sharing space between users
There is no native feature in BestWinter that allows you to chat with, follow, rate or contact other users. This is by design. Any sharing you do (for example, sending a screenshot of a trip to your group chat) happens via your own device and messaging tools.
7. Service changes and availability
We may update, pause or discontinue parts of BestWinter from time to time — for example, to improve features, switch AI models, or comply with legal requirements. We try to do this without disrupting your planning, but we cannot guarantee that the service will always be available or error‑free.
8. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses that result from using BestWinter, such as missed connections, price changes, weather surprises or trips that do not feel as magical as hoped.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
9. Termination
You are free to stop using BestWinter at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you misuse the service, attempt to interfere with its operation, or breach these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to Trendflux Ltd in its place of registration, without regard to conflict of law rules. Local mandatory consumer protections may also apply.
11. Contact
Questions about these Terms, or about BestWinter in general, can be sent to:

12. Updates to these Terms
We may update these Terms as BestWinter evolves. When that happens, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, communicate inside the app. Continuing to use BestWinter after changes take effect means that you accept the updated Terms.
